Besides being a highly regarded practitioner, Dr. Murray is a recognized expert in the field. Dr. Murray has appeared on CNN American Morning and Anderson Cooper 360, ABC World News Tonight and Good Morning America, ABC 7 New York Viewpoint, NBC Nightly News, NBC 4 Live at 5, CBS The Early Show, CBS 2 News This Morning, MTV, FOX News Live, FOX 5 Good Day New York, and Animal Planet’s Animal Precinct, and has provided veterinary information to many magazines and newspapers including the New York Times, USA Today, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, People Magazine, and others. She has served on several veterinary committees and is a member of The American Veterinary Medical Association and The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Through her daily practice as well as her speaking appearances, Dr. Murray strives to improve the health and wellbeing of her pet patients. She believes in sharing her knowledge with pet owners so they are better able to demand and receive the medical attention available for their pets; similarly, by conveying her experiences to her colleagues, she encourages them to provide the best care possible. Dr. Murray lives in Manhattan with her husband, Captain Peter Archer of the FDNY, and her two cats Dov and Siena. |
